Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the iOS games Hollywood: Movie Studio Tycoon, Streampire: Streaming Tycoon and The Alchemist's Study (the "Apps"), and to this website. The Apps are made by Carsten Vauth, a solo developer based in Berlin, Germany.

Data the Apps collect

None. The Apps do not collect, transmit or share any personal data. Your game progress and settings are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. That data never leaves your device, is not sent to me or to anyone else, and is not backed up to any server I control. Deleting an App deletes its local data.

No tracking, no advertising

The Apps contain no advertising, no in-app purchases, and no analytics or tracking technologies. They do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and do not build any profile of you. There is nothing to opt out of.

Purchases

The Apps are sold as one-time purchases through Apple's App Store. Any payment is processed entirely by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. I never see your name, payment details or address — I only receive anonymized, aggregate sales figures from Apple.

Notifications

The Alchemist's Study may ask your permission to send local notifications (for example, when your offline brewing is full). These are generated on your device only. If you decline, or turn them off in iOS Settings, the App works exactly the same otherwise.

This website

This website is a set of static pages and does not set cookies or collect personal data from visitors. If it is hosted by a service such as Netlify, that provider may process standard server access logs (for example your IP address) for security and to deliver the pages, as described in the provider's own privacy policy. No such data is used by me to identify or track you.

Children

The Apps are suitable for all ages and, because they collect no data at all, they collect no data from children.

Your rights

Because the Apps hold no personal data about you on any server, there is nothing for me to access, correct or delete on your behalf. Any local game data is fully under your control on your own device. Under the GDPR you may still contact me with any question about your privacy.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
